Corinne Gold took these amazing shot at Sunset Ranch on the North Shore of Oahu. Marie Blooms designed the herb accent bouquets for the bride. Alicia who looked beautiful (thanks to Faith & Beauty & Charles were the loveliest couple and really enjoyed every minute of their wedding day.
I am so proud of this wedding. Avery of Green Honolulu went over board when she designed this unique and rustic altar piece. The bride, groom & I struggled to create a masterpiece and Avery made it a reality. She wowed all the guests and bridal party with her decor from table tops to signage. Kahaluu Fishpond was magical & majestic. Ginniberries won the crowd with their amazing sauces, presentation and quality of food. Thanks to the very talented Ruth Anne we all get to look back and enjoy her photos. Accel Party Rentals had the perfect over size tables to accommodate our beautiful burlap runners & an array of florals. Scott stayed to ensure perfection. Thank you Scott! Pacific Party Rentals provided us with the tenting, staging and lighting. What a team!!! They are off the hook!
The Chanson’s are a delight. What a gift to have them be part of our day. They are outstanding and truly talented. Their blog is one you want to sign up for because Breanna’s blogs are to die for. She keeps you in love with weddings. Thank you Radiant Photography for this extravagant gift of wedding photos. Visit their blog for a better story than I could write.
Gainey Vineyard was the most beautiful place on earth for our wedding. Buckboard Catering couldn’t have been better. Their mac and cheese was a hit!

The Rocking Bridal Party & Our Amazing Friends & Family
I don’t have a lot to say about this couple except if there was a bride that I could pick as my new friend it would be her! She was so awesome and we had such a nice time planning her wedding that I gave her money back! That has never happened! I treated her to her rental chairs because they were just that awesome! Outrigger Waikiki was a great spot for this couple to have a destination wedding. Picket Fence of 96734 did a great job bringing in her colors and favorite flowers. Their florals are flawless. Stephen Ludwig, one of my favorite Oahu photographers is just a dream in capturing these special moments. The cake by Paradise Pastries was gorgeous. More photos to come!
Just stop thinking about it, you won’t get to have your wedding here! It was a very special friend who loaned her home to a dear friend. We were all totally stunned and in awe of the beauty of this place. I get phone calls everyday asking to have their wedding here. It’s a private estate owned by an amazing family who is so lovely and generous. I loved this bride because she let me do my job and completely trusted me. It’s not every day I fall in love with the family either. They were very kind and took me in like I was their own. I got texts, thank you cards and gifts from all of them. I wish I could hang out with them all the time! Eddy Wong of Renai photo wowed us by his skills and design. He took amazing shots. I loved the way he took advantage of the lighting. Beaches and Backyard Catering gave our mouths a party! I’m in love with bride and flower girl shots. As theknot.com says, panoramic group photos are a hit and must have in 2012! This maid of honor speech was awesome! She relived a moment back in the day of the brides karate performance. Have you ever seen a MOH do a better job then a best man?
I adore the Queen Emma Summer Palace off the Pali Hwy on Oahu. It eludes royalty, elegance and mana (power). The tall green trees that surround the palace in all it’s splendor provides shade and noise reduction from the highway. You feel like you have taken a trip back to the days of the monarchy. The photo ops are incredible. You can offer a tour of the palace as guests arrive or during the cocktail hour. Enjoy dining rooms, bedrooms and living area set just as they were many years ago. The koa wood furniture, decor, feathers and garb are all on display for your enjoyment.
My absolute favorite Etsy designer! Aly with For Such a Time Designs does wonderful custom designs on forks, spoons, knives, etc. She creates lasting memories! I’m a huge fan of using a fork and knife set instead of or with a cake knife on your wedding day to cut your cake. Or how about eating with your “Mr” & “Mrs” fork on our wedding day. Or surprise your parents, bridal party with their initials and have them at their seat on their wedding day. We did it and our family loved it! Every time I open my cutlery drawer I am taken back to the best day of my life. Life tastes this good! Aly not only gave great customer service and got our orders in quickly with perfection, she is a sweetheart! You really feel as if each piece was made with love, devotion and passion.
I’ve already told you how much fun this couple is and was. The escort tree, the tables were named after famous buildings in their hometown of Pittsburgh. This was truly Hawaiian Tropical Elegance. How cute are their babies going to be;)
